Solastalgia 1.0 / Engebøfjellet (2019)

Master course at the Art Academy at the University of Bergen. w/ field work and group exhibition. Read more about the exhibition here.

Initiated by associate professor Christine Hansen in winter of 2018/19 with Åsne Eldøy as research assistant. Courses, lectures and excursions for Master students at Kunstakademiet/ KMD, Bergen. The course examined several aspects of research as artistic method, with the term ‘solastalgia’ as a starting point for collaborative research. Contributions and lectures by artists Marte Aas, Morten Torgersrud, Kjersti Vetterstad and Line Anda Dalmar.

Exhibiton at ROM61, Bergen, 2019. Participants: Sidsel Bonde, Catherine Deller, Ann Edvartsen, Åsne Eldøy, Wyndyl Bakisan Felix, Christine Hansen, Skade Henriksen, Andrea Grundt Johns and Emily Wright.

New works and variations of the ROM61 exhibiton travelled to the Solastalgia 2.0 exhibition at Studio 17, Stavanger, 2020, opened with a seminar and artist presentations. Partisipants: Sidsel Bonde, Ann Edvartsen, Åsne Eldøy, Christine Hansen, Skade Henriksen, Andrea Grundt Johns and Emily Wright.
